Throughout the devlopment process, Perpetual Entertainment were notoriously secretive and rarely gave interviews. In the four years that they had the devlopment rights, we only ever saw a handful of ingame screenshots. Around 40 concept images were also released.

At the end of 2007, Perpetual Entertainment ceased devlopment of their Gods and Heroes Project, and shortly after was sued for fraud by Kohnke Communications Limited.

In Janurary 2008, Perpetual Entertainment ceased devlopment on Star Trek Online and passed devlopment rights to another San Francisco Devloper. In Feburary 2008, P2 Entertainment ceased all operations and closed down.
